Depending on the situation, the following work steps can optionally
be carried out (using a shaft furnace as an example):
- Any preliminary work such as the dismantling of furnace accessories, depending on the project agreement
- The existing heating system and the old isolation are completely broken out or dismantled. For this purpose, the installation is enclosed to prevent the release of any possible existing pollutants
- The old material is packaged by us according to regulations and brought into the customer’s rubbish container
- The furnace is completely relined with low memory lightweight isolation. In the area of the side walls, we work with prepared isolation sheets from vacuum-formed ceramic fibre, including a mounting system for the heating
- As a back isolation in the area of the heated side walls, mineral and ceramic isolation material is used
- The ceiling, front and back doors and furnace collar is newly isolated using the strip module technology
- The furnace floor is lined with multi-layer isolation sheets and isolation bricks and the upper layer is walled up with lightweight fire bricks
- All heating elements including connections are installed professionally, as originally designed or as requested by the customer
- Optionally we deliver and install your thermocouples
- Wiring and piping depending on the agreement
- We are happy to accompany the commissioning and the drying process of your furnace and advise you on the corresponding temperature-time profiles
