Lift and rotating device

Thanks to our lift and rotating device on our shaft furnaces, up to an effective diameter of 2600mm, the furnace cover opens hydraulically at the push of a button. Initially, by a vertical lift move and afterwards by a linear rotating move, which can be executed electrically, hydraulically or – for smaller cover sizes – also manually. The cover is rotated to the side and opens the working and charge space.

In this way, your operating team does not need to use an additional crane to open the furnace cover and this procedure under temperature stress can be executed with safety distance (in the electric and hydraulic version) for the operator.
